After teaching over 10,000 students online and in brick and mortar schools, there has never been a complaint from a student, parent, or school site. These days. I feel like I can predict questions when I teach. I have taught every math subject many times, so I guarantee I have a solid understanding of the material. As a mom, it has become obvious that making adjustments for every learner is a must. As a former homeschool mom, my commitment is to respect the ideas of parents and guardians.

With over six years of classroom experience, I've taught AP Human Geography, AP World History, AP Economics, and Government at the high school level. I also founded Intrinsic Education to provide personalized learning plans that empower students to take ownership of their education.

As both an educator and a mom, I'm passionate about making learning meaningful and helping every student discover their unique path.

She has a science educator license in 13 states and currently teaches in the public school system, and is the 2016 Secondary Teacher of the Year for Chesapeake Public Schools. She has experience with all levels of science -Lower level as well as higher achieving students but, knows that students at all levels can be successful!

As a homeschool graduate myself, I know the power of personalized education. That foundation—combined with my years in the classroom, work in curriculum design, and even seasons of sailing and international service—has shaped the adaptable, student-centered approach I bring to tutoring today.

Beyond one-on-one instruction, I'm the cohost and co-founder of Key Connections for Educators, a podcast that brings diverse voices together to share ideas and perspectives about teaching and learning. I also run a YouTube channel with playlists on financial literacy for kids, grammar, U.S. history, and math—resources that make learning both accessible and fun.
