Skills & Tools
To start, learn basic computer skills as a homeschooler. Figure out how to use both Microsoft and Google platforms. Also, learn how to print items and use keyboard shortcuts. Practice downloading and saving pictures, documents, etc. Learning these simple tools early on will set your homeschooler up for success. In addition, if you (the homeschool parent) don’t know these skills, I suggest you learn them, as you need to know them too.
Continuing, use social media as a tool. Encourage your homeschooler to play with social media and study it. They can find social media gurus or YouTube channel experts who teach viewers how to use social media as a tool. Start a social media presence and build it around something you love. For reference, feel free to check out my Instagram account, linked below. I have loved building this account because it has helped me grow both personally and professionally. Study other online skills, such as marketing and networking. Learn how to draft a professional email and build a resume. Learn what high-ticket sales means. Study email campaigning. Discover the world of online sales and how you can use it to your advantage.

In conclusion, these skills will help your homeschooler walk forward in a world of AI and digital opportunity. These days, digital skills are like currency. What matters most is how we use these skills. Can our homeschoolers use these skills to benefit and uplift others? How can we stir up hope for the future with these vital tools?
